Awakening 03:30

Lying awake in dormant dream, The drum of that heart would carry my sleep, To be so near yet so far gone, A torment burns it rages on. In desperate times I called for you, But only to hear what the heart knows true, Shattered remains of that life, So insatiable for what’s not mine. Like a clap of thunder before the rain, I felt everything of this sensual pain. A blackened sun comes to dominate A mind so corrupt But for a moment of clarity Soon the clutching arms Of chaos come forth And a single reprisal remains Only a shadow stays Gifted was the time of god When that time was the presence of love Preparing for the final touch Why must life turn to dust How can I watch and say goodbye To this world I’ve come to know inside Nothing is clear, it’s so untrue A rift so great, it cant be through To cross your arms for one more night I shiver so cold The end’s in sight

Their darkened eyes filled with vengeance and hatred, Hearts drenched with despair. Despised were the markings and indelible beauty, When hope tainted the fair. Time forgets the wasted souls, That cried out in questionable fear, How had the past seemed to distant, yet all that remains so clear. Now as the dormant moon sets on the last dream, The other rumbles once more. And with the echoing cries of eternal slumber, A breathless night descends to a coming war. I sailed away from time, Seeking something else, But never would I find, A compromise the distanced me, From, The overwhelming I saw in your eyes, What was just memory, Dissolved I lost myself to, A blissful dream But only dead can live immortal like the sun, In the light and fire, safely in the arms, I resign myself, Embracing dark and silence I await, Till the day that I can return to you, Or death set me free. Am I, alone inside my mind, Seeking something else, Never would I find, A compromise that distanced me, From, The overwhelming Wait for me from shore afar, For destiny has surely claimed another path, And, bound to it I ride alone, Till that time, When dawn shines once more I saw in your eyes, What was just memory, Dissolved I lost myself to, A blissful dream, A place to restore sanctuary, But now I lay with only, Promise to comfort me, In this dark and silent dream, I await that day. A fear so deep of life alone, How crushing is a life alone, I cannot stand a life alone, Even in death We’re all alone, But comfort from You I know.

Morus Mana 07:57
A goat flees from the herd flying to the crags, A desolated soul finds paradise In the kingdom that is Him. A god that flies alone Standing there, Amongst the chosen worthy few Morus cries to all, Within this sacred land We are gods this day, Now rejoice, Mana When you see the reality of what you’ve done And how you’ve prayed to your false idols Unrequited love you gave to them All you gave to them When life is so jaded What you’ve created Morus was once a god, now he stands alone On a rocky throne surrounded By smoke and shadow Facing down that final hour, Judgement comes to make you cower, What consumes and takes away, What was born that bitter day, Now the light it grows so dim, As the soul forgets to swim, Journey on the spiral path, And leave behind what’s in the past, Now beyond the thin veil, To a form that’s not so frail, We are distant from the sun and the fallen stars. Darkness is the air you breath, As conscious thoughts begin to fade, Now exit light and do no fight, You’re free from suffering. Tormented by rising tide, Of isolation in the face of love. Concrete masks now stare at you, Deceived you were did not see through, Build them nests and build their dreams, And it’s too late to flee. Now your final sun it sets, Morus fades in to, A distant memory. Leave behind what you thought, A world so fair and beautiful, So full of lies and all, Concrete hearts were never fall. Just too late, so it seems, A sodomised reality, But they heard you calling. Now in death rise o great, Mana will, liberate.

Waking to this silent cave, Hollow from the wounds I bore, Recoiled from the touch of celestial delight, Only she may cleanse that scar. Single leaf now hangs in balance, From an oaken trunk so carved, The weight is carries grounds me here, And the lace a tether to far. The stones once cast cry out their woes, Release what is gone, But how…how I say, When blissful was your balm. A foreign shore now awaits, Only questions lie there, What will be in time removed, But memory haunts my tongue. Anxious lining of euphoric heights, This day it has come, Now ride and watch and wait once more, Till summer return. I see your face in every rock Though a tear rolls for what is gone, A smile I feel for what was, And though a sadness comes, A memory lives on, The beauty of a sacred time, Shall, ring, long. And if there is a new dawn, Then I have walked a perfect path, But if it’s not meant to be, Then I can still say that I’ve known bliss. And I hold that moment in eternity, Forever will I see joy in my eyes to you. Though farewell is bitter. Do not let it taint the peaks we climbed, Despite, How steep they were.
